About The Position

The Bilingual Teacher Assistant supports campus operations and works with children under the direction of the campus administrator. The role requires bilingual ability, strong communication skills, and the physical capacity to work with energetic small children. Extracurricular duties, such as bus or hall duties, may be assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to obtain a Paraprofessional Certificate.
• Experience working with children or youth is required; examples include babysitting, volunteer work, church groups, caring for siblings or other minors, or educational preparation programs.
• Good communication skills with students and adults.
• Bilingual ability is required.
• Physical strength and stamina to meet the demands of working with energetic small children.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree or 48 hours of college preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with children and provide support as assigned by the campus administrator.
• Perform extracurricular duties as assigned, including bus or hall duties.
