Bilingual Assistant Teacher

Guidepost Montessori•Charlotte, NC

About The Position

Guidepost Montessori at Prosperity is hiring a bilingual English/Spanish Assistant Guide to support children ages 0–6 in Infant, Toddler, and Children’s House classrooms. The role helps create a calm, engaging environment where children can explore, learn, and grow at their own pace. The Assistant Guide uses Spanish in everyday conversations, songs, stories, and routines so children can experience the language naturally, while helping prepare intentional learning spaces and supporting individual and small-group activities with respect, patience, and care. This is a closing-shift position. The Assistant Guide helps children wind down at the end of the day, keeps the classroom calm and ready for the next day, and connects with families at pickup. The position works alongside Lead Guides and the wider team to build a strong classroom community. Guidepost Montessori offers sponsored Montessori diploma training, professional development and mentorship, a tuition discount for up to two children at a Guidepost school, insurance, paid time off and holidays, and opportunities for career growth. The company describes itself as a network of more than 80 schools across the U.S. and Asia, serving children from 3 months to 6 years old.
