About The Position
Administer Justice has been empowering vulnerable neighbors for over 25 years by providing legal assistance and demonstrating God's love through the church. The organization aims to expand access to justice and Jesus, recognizing that a significant portion of Americans cannot afford legal representation. Administer Justice operates Gospel Justice Centers, which are biblical, holistic, team-based, and neighborhood-centered, providing legal, social, and spiritual support through a dedicated team. The organization emphasizes the importance of volunteers using their gifts to pursue justice, love kindness, and walk humbly with God.
Requirements
- In a growing, energetic relationship with Jesus & aligned with Administer Justice’s Statement of Faith.
- Exceptional heart for service, able to guide others in this heart for deeper ministry impact.
- Highly computer proficient, able to quickly learn new systems and use them efficiently and train others.
- Experience answering and routing high volume phone calls, emails, and chats.
- Fluency in English and Spanish required.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Zendesk, Vonage, or Acuity.
Responsibilities
- Promptly and efficiently answer phone and email requests from volunteers serving at AJ’s Gospel Justice Centers.
- Ensure volunteers experience high-quality support, increasing their effectiveness and satisfaction in their roles.
- Provide support, assistance, and guidance to clients that call Administer Justice on Saturdays about their scheduled appointment.
- Call clients back to provide additional information, assistance rescheduling or canceling their appointment, or to schedule them for an appointment.
- Contribute to a welcoming, organized, and supportive environment that attracts and retains committed volunteers.
- Periodically cover shifts for client and volunteer support during the week (optional, but preferred).
