The Bilingual Spanish-Speaking Resident Advocate (PT) position at DOVE House is a part-time role responsible for maintaining the confidentiality, security, safety, and general upkeep of the facility. The advocate will attend to the overall needs of in-shelter clients, answer helpline and dispatch phone calls, and assist with client intake and exit processes. A professional and considerate demeanor is expected at all times. This role also involves training assignments and staying current with best practices in victim advocacy, including a 40-hour victim advocacy training. Bilingual advocates will collaborate with the Spanish Advocacy Team to develop and implement protocols for timely response to Spanish-speaking survivors and support outreach efforts within the Spanish-speaking community.
