We are seeking a branch leader with proven branch banking management experience. Candidates must have a strong background in business development, community involvement, and be fluent in both English and Spanish. This role manages all activities of a branch and is responsible for the overall success of the branch operating model, including customer and employee experience, digital engagement, transactions/operations, servicing, and sales, with personal production responsibility. The position reports to a Retail Regional Manager and leads the branch team to achieve annual sales and profitability goals, requiring a sound working knowledge of overall branch operations. Branch Managers are responsible for establishing and maintaining federal registration requirements outlined in the SAFE Act, staying current on operational, product, and system changes/enhancements, and demonstrating good risk management decisions. Insurance licensing and M&T Business Banking Specialist minimum expectations must be maintained. Branch Managers will typically spend some time servicing existing customers and the majority of their time growing the business through proactive sales and outside calling activities. They are responsible for building productive partnerships within the bank to ensure customer needs, service issues, and employee issues are resolved timely and accurately, taking full ownership of customer issues until completely resolved.
