About The Position
We are hiring a dependable, bilingual Shop Assistant to support our busy auto repair shops. This is a hands-on role for someone who is self-directed, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
- Able to drive between multiple nearby locations as needed.
- Comfortable staying active throughout the day.
- Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new systems.
Nice To Haves
- Previous customer service, retail, or automotive experience.
- Familiarity with auto repair shop operations.
- Ability to safely drive a variety of customer vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers at the front counter in a friendly, professional manner.
- Answer phones and provide excellent customer service.
- Process cash and card payments accurately.
- Pick up and deliver parts from local vendors.
- Shuttle vehicles between nearby locations, when needed.
- Assist with shop cleanliness, facilities upkeep, and general organization.
- Support daily operations with light administrative and clerical tasks.
- Work independently, prioritize tasks, and take initiative without constant supervision.
