Bilingual Sales Advocate
About The Position
Mobilelink is Cricket’s largest authorized wireless retailer in the United States, with over 500 Cricket stores. Bilingual Sales Advocates help customers identify suitable wireless solutions and receive training and tools to succeed. The role offers commission-based earning potential and a career path with opportunities for advancement into leadership. This position is based at the Edinburg, Texas store. Employees may occasionally participate in outside sales events, community engagements, and promotional activities for Cricket Wireless. These activities are considered part of the job and a condition of employment; employees will receive reasonable notice. Event duties may include engaging with customers, representing Cricket products and services, distributing marketing materials, and helping set up or break down events. The position requires at least 32 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Employees must be able to work at multiple locations within the district as needed and maintain a neat, professional appearance in accordance with the Team Color policy.
Requirements
- Fluency in at least two languages; this position requires English and Spanish.
- Clear communication skills, a positive attitude, and technical aptitude.
- Commitment to exemplary customer service, honesty, and integrity.
- At least 18 years old and legally able to work in the United States without restrictions.
- Ability to work a minimum of 32 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Reliable transportation to the store location.
- Live within 30 minutes of the home store and be flexible to work at multiple locations within the district as needed.
- Ability to operate a personal computer.
- Follow the Team Color policy and maintain a neat, professional appearance.
- Ability to lift up to 10 pounds, bend, squat, and stretch for inventory and stocking, and stand for long periods, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, follow instructions through to completion, and solve problems under pressure.
Nice To Haves
- Retail sales experience is helpful but not required.
- A strong social media presence is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, attentive customer service and understand customers’ needs.
- Offer tailored solutions to individuals, families, and businesses, and explain their value.
- Represent Mobilelink and the Cricket brand professionally and courteously.
- Assist store leaders with store operations and other duties.
- Meet sales goals and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Participate as required in outside sales events, community engagements, and promotional activities.
- At events, engage customers, represent Cricket Wireless products and services, distribute marketing materials, and assist with setup or breakdown.
