Bilingual Mental Health Therapist- Maryland
About The Position
Backpack Healthcare is seeking licensed mental health therapists to provide accessible behavioral healthcare to children, teens, young adults, and their families through virtual care. The organization emphasizes culturally responsive care and is looking for clinicians who can provide therapy in Spanish, as many families prefer it. The role offers flexibility in scheduling (part-time or full-time) and the opportunity to build a meaningful caseload. Clinicians will work with an interdisciplinary team and maintain documentation in an EHR system. The company is a clinician-led, minority-owned organization founded in 2020, focused on making behavioral healthcare more accessible and effective.
Requirements
- Active Maryland license: LGPC, LCPC, LMSW, LMFT, or LCSW-C
- Experience working with children, adolescents, and families
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills
- Commitment to trauma-informed and culturally responsive practice

Responsibilities
- Conduct clinical intakes and assessments
- Develop individualized, trauma-informed treatment plans
- Provide individual, family, and group therapy via telehealth
- Collaborate with therapists, PMHNPs, psychiatrists, and other members of our interdisciplinary team
- Support parents and caregivers through education and care coordination
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in our EHR
- Provide culturally responsive care that considers each family's language, culture, and unique needs
