About The Position

Work collaboratively with a skilled care team—including providers, benefits specialists, front desk receptionists, and behavioral health consultants—to provide quality health services and resources that meet patients’ needs. Assist providers with onsite procedures; take vital signs; perform phlebotomy; and administer medications and vaccines directly to patients. Respond to patient questions, return calls, schedule appointments, and review medical records. Continue developing clinical knowledge through extensive clinical training and technical training with Epic, an electronic medical record system.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical Assistant diploma from an accredited program.
• CPR/Basic Life Support certification.
• At least one year of experience or a clinical externship.
• Basic proficiency with an electronic medical record (EMR); Epic preferred.
• Ability to work some evenings and Saturdays.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities
