About The Position
This is an hourly non-exempt position on the leasing team at a 432-unit apartment community in San Antonio. The Leasing Consultant makes the first connection with potential residents, helps them find their perfect apartment home, greets prospects, shows apartments, closes sales, and processes rental applications and leases in compliance with fair housing laws. The ideal candidate enjoys building relationships and has a friendly and professional demeanor.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of leasing experience.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish).
- Good leasing and closing skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to type 30 WPM and be organized.
- Computer skills in Word, Excel, Outlook, and Yardi or other similar programs.
- Must be able to work 2-3 Saturdays per month.
- Valid Texas Driver’s License.
Responsibilities
- Greeting visitors and residents
- Answering and returning resident calls, as well as email requests
- Completing guest cards and lease paperwork correctly and timely
- Selling features and amenities to prospective residents
- Showing apartments
