About The Position
An international financial services firm in Midtown Manhattan is seeking a bilingual Japanese-English Global Mobility Manager to oversee international assignments and global mobility operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 7–10 years of experience in HR and/or Global Mobility.
- Advanced Japanese and English communication skills.
- Experience with HRIS, payroll, accounting, and tax-related matters.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information and work effectively across cultures and time zones.
Responsibilities
- Manage international assignments, including immigration, relocation, payroll, benefits, and tax compliance.
- Coordinate with HR teams in the U.S. and Japan, senior management, employees, and external service providers.
- Review and improve global mobility policies, procedures, and processes.
- Oversee and develop the U.S. Global Mobility team.
- Partner with Legal and other departments on immigration policies and compliance.
