About The Position

The Bilingual Instructional Assistant- Farsi will support students at Marvin Marshall ECE. This is a permanent, part-time position with benefits included. The work year is 9 months/year, 200 days/year, and the work day is 7 hours. The work hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM. The applicant must be fluent in English in addition to Farsi. Candidates with an approved application will be contacted after the posting closes to schedule a bilingual language testing appointment.

Must pre-qualify by attaching your High School Diploma or equivalnt and one documentation [A, B, C, or D item] from the following list:
[A] Passing score from SJUSD's Proficiency Exam - testing date must be April 2005 to current. No other school districts proficiency exam accepted.
[B] Official passing score from the California Basic Educational Skills Test (CBEST)
[C] OFFICIAL transcripts demonstrating the completion of two years of college (48 semester/60 quarter units)
[D] Proof of an A.A. degree (or higher). If your degree/transcripts are from a foreign college or university, YOU MUST have coursework evaluated for its equivalency to a degree/transcripts received from an accredited United States college or university.
