About The Position

Northeast Family Services is hiring experienced Direct Support Professionals to work with children, teens, and young adults ages 3–21 who have developmental, social, and emotional needs. Staff provide services in clients’ homes and communities through the Home-Based Therapeutic Services (HBTS), Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), and Personal Assistance Services and Supports (PASS) programs. Fluency in English and Haitian-Creole is required. These are part-time hourly positions of 6–20 hours per week, including after-school, evening, and weekend hours. Compensation is $16–$22 per hour, depending on program, education, and experience, with a bonus of up to $500 after 120 days.

Requirements

Be at least 19 years old for HBTS and ABA, or at least 18 years old for PASS.
Fluency in English and Haitian-Creole is required.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Pass DCYF, BCI, and driving-record clearances.
Have valid car insurance and vehicle registration.
Have one year of supervised experience working with children, an Associate’s Degree in Human Services or a related field, or demonstrated competency working with children with special health care needs through the provider-agency’s skills validation.
Ability to read, write, and speak English.
Authorization to work in the U.S.; visa sponsorship or transfer is not available.
Access to secured high-speed internet.

Experience is preferred, though training may be provided to the right candidate.

Responsibilities
