About The Position

Northeast Family Services is seeking experienced Direct Support Professionals to work directly with children, teens, and young adults ages 3–21 with developmental, social, and emotional needs in their homes and communities. Immediate openings are available in the Home-Based Therapeutic Services (HBTS) Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Personal Assistance Services and Supports (PASS) programs. These are part-time positions of 6–20 hours per week, including after-school, evening, and weekend hours. The position is hourly, with pay of $16.00–$22.00 per hour depending on program, education, and experience. A sign-on bonus of up to $500 is available after 120 days.

Requirements

Be at least 19 years old for HBTS and ABA, or at least 18 years old for PASS.
Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Pass required clearances, including DCYF, BCI, and driving record checks.
Valid car insurance and vehicle registration.
Have one year of supervised experience working with children, an Associate’s Degree in Human Services or a related field, or demonstrate competency working with children with special health care needs through the provider agency’s skills validation.
Ability to read, write, and speak English.
Authorization to work in the United States; the employer cannot sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa.
Access to secured high-speed internet.

Responsibilities
