CFHW offers a paid, 12-week Dental Assistant Training Program designed to help individuals build real skills, gain certification, and launch into a healthcare career. This program provides comprehensive learning about dental assisting, including tooth anatomy, procedures, and terminology. Trainees will learn to collaborate with dentists, anticipate their needs, and work effectively within a team to manage tasks such as cleaning rooms, sterilizing instruments, loading x-rays, documenting notes, and setting up for patients. The program also focuses on educating patients about oral health and post-operative care, all within a fast-paced, team-based clinical environment. While this program does not guarantee employment with CFHW, graduates will be job-ready with the necessary skills, certification, and support for securing a Dental Assistant role in the community.
