About The Position

We are seeking a Bilingual Debt Collector (English/Spanish) to join our solar servicing company in Houston, TX. This is a 100% in-person role with hourly compensation of $22/hr. The primary responsibility is to communicate with customers via inbound/outbound phone calls to manage assigned accounts and recover outstanding debts. This role requires updating account status and databases regularly, validating customer information, and explaining contract terms to customers.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years collections experience.
• Minimum High School Diploma
• Computer/Technical knowledge to change, add, or delete information in servicing platform
• Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently in the best interest of the company and customer
• Bilingual in English and Spanish

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers via inbound/outbound phone calls.
• Manage assigned accounts and plan course of action to recover outstanding debts.
• Update account status and database regularly.
• Validation of customer information including addresses, contact information, and right party authentication steps.
• Review terms of sales and agreement documents and explain them to customers to increase customer understanding of contract obligations.
