About The Position

The main responsibility for this position is to provide verbal and written translation support from English-Spanish-English, ensuring that the translated version conveys the meaning of the original visual graphic or verbal conversation as clearly as possible. This role also involves providing onboarding and training support.

Requirements

2+ years’ experience teaching or translating English to Spanish
Ability to speak fluently in both English and Spanish
High degree of proficiency Google applications (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail)
Strong organizational, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team
Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting

Advanced knowledge and experience with Google applications

Responsibilities

Translate written material from English to Spanish and/or Spanish to English, edit the wording as needed.
Research retail operations, HR, marketing, etc. to find the most appropriate translation.
Partner with internal clients to discuss any unclear points.
Proofread and edit final translated versions.
Provide internal clients with a grammatically correct, well-expressed final version of the translated text via the appropriate communication medium.
Provide “live” translation support during group meetings, one-on-one meetings, etc., including onboarding and training support.
Prioritize work to meet deadlines.
Uphold confidentiality when involved in sensitive conversations.
Other projects and responsibilities as assigned.
Must be able to work in all departments performing various functions of the Merchandise Processor position.
