About The Position

Customer Service Specialists work closely with wholesale and retail customers to determine their needs, answer questions about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend appropriate solutions. They resolve customer concerns promptly, maintain knowledge of product features, and help maintain the quality and visual standards of products and the store. The role focuses on excellent customer service while consistently meeting store sales goals. The work involves contact with customers, including potentially minors, and access to cash and other payment methods, electronic equipment, personal information, merchandise, and other valuables. The selected individual will work at Store #5225, 149 Loudon Road, Concord, NH 03301. A review of criminal history is required to protect the business, its operations and reputation, and the safety of customers, staff, employees, vendors, contractors, and the public.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without requiring employment-visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English.
Be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish.
Have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
Be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. occasionally.
Be willing, with or without reasonable accommodation, to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends.
If an internal Sherwin-Williams candidate, have received at least a “meets expectations” (3) rating on the most recent performance appraisal.
If an internal Sherwin-Williams candidate, have completed all HR Cloud eLearning courses required for the current position.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED.
At least one year of experience working in delivery, retail, or customer service.
Previous work experience selling paint and paint-related products.
Previous work experience operating tinting and mixing equipment.

Responsibilities

Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining their needs and presenting appropriate products and services.
Build productive, trusting relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
Process sales transactions accurately and in accordance with policies and procedures.
Follow and achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals.
Maintain precise work order files and formulas.
Pull appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse.
Tint and mix products to customer specifications, as needed.
Stock shelves and set up displays.
Clean store equipment.
Load and unload delivery trucks.
Assist with deliveries, as needed.
Maintain assigned areas in an in-stock and presentable condition.
Remain knowledgeable about products offered and discuss available options.
Comply with inventory control procedures.
Suggest ways to improve sales.
