About The Position

Disabled Veteran Solutions (DVS) is a nationally recognized, veteran-owned organization providing high-quality services in regulated healthcare settings. We are seeking Customer Advocates who combine strong technical ability with professionalism, empathy, and a desire to build a long-term career within a structured, mission-driven organization. This is a full-time, remote position designed for individuals who value stability, accountability, and career advancement. We invest significantly in our team members – including an intensive 8-week paid training program – and hire individuals ready to commit and grow.

Requirements

  • Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • High school diploma (associate degree or higher preferred).
  • Previous customer service experience handling complex or sensitive issues.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Ability to navigate multiple web systems simultaneously.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication.
  • Comfort navigating multiple browser windows simultaneously.
  • Ability to switch between systems while actively speaking with members.
  • Ability to document in real-time without sacrificing call quality.
  • Ability to troubleshoot basic system or navigation issues independently.

  • Exposure to healthcare, insurance, or medical terminology.
  • Advocacy or support-based roles such as social work or behavioral health.
  • Customer service roles in retail requiring problem-solving.

Responsibilities

  • Manage 50-70 member interactions per day, serving as a trusted resource for healthcare coordination, medications, appointments, and benefits-related inquiries.
  • Navigate multiple web-based platforms in real-time.
  • Document accurately across different systems.
  • Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams securely.
  • Maintain consistent adherence to compliance processes and standards.
