About The Position

This opportunity provides hands-on safety leadership for interior construction activities including OSIP systems, cabinet installation, raised flooring systems, doors, interior buildout, and finish construction activities within a mission-critical environment. The Bilingual Construction Safety Manager will serve as a key field leader, maintaining a strong presence throughout active work areas while supporting English and Spanish-speaking craft personnel, subcontractors, supervision, and project leadership. This role will focus on identifying hazards, maintaining compliance, and ensuring the safe execution of interior systems installation and construction activities.

Requirements

  • Bilingual Spanish/English Required
  • OSHA 500 Construction Certification
  • Minimum 2+ Years of Construction Safety Experience
  • Strong ability to communicate safety expectations with English- and Spanish-speaking craft personnel
  • Working knowledge of OSHA Construction Standards
  • Working knowledge of Data Center Construction Safety Requirements
  • Working knowledge of Interior Systems Construction
  • Working knowledge of Cabinet Installation Activities
  • Working knowledge of Raised Flooring Systems
  • Working knowledge of Door Installation & Finish Construction
  • Working knowledge of Material Handling & Staging Operations
  • Working knowledge of Housekeeping & Workforce Management
  • Working knowledge of Fall Protection & Elevated Work
  • Working knowledge of Aerial Lifts & MEWPs
  • Working knowledge of Job Hazard Analysis (JHA)

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily field safety oversight for interior construction and OSIP installation activities
  • Maintain a highly visible presence throughout active work areas
  • Serve as a bilingual safety resource for English and Spanish-speaking personnel
  • Conduct routine site inspections, audits, observations, and hazard assessments
  • Monitor cabinet installation, raised flooring work, door installation, material handling operations, and elevated work activities
  • Review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs), permits, and pre-task plans
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and project-specific safety requirements
  • Identify unsafe conditions and coordinate timely corrective actions
  • Provide field coaching and reinforce safe work practices with craft personnel
  • Coordinate safety activities with project management, supervision, and subcontractors
  • Participate in incident investigations and corrective action implementation
  • Maintain required safety documentation, inspection records, and compliance reports
  • Promote a proactive safety culture throughout the project
