About The Position

Join a contractor supporting a large-scale data center construction project in Port Washington, WI. This opportunity provides hands-on safety leadership for a major drywall subcontractor with approximately 140 craft employees performing interior systems and drywall installation activities within a mission-critical construction environment. The Construction Safety Manager will maintain a highly visible field presence while working directly with foremen, superintendents, craft personnel, subcontractors, and project leadership to identify hazards, maintain compliance, and support the safe execution of drywall installation, framing activities, material handling operations, elevated work, and interior buildout scopes.

Requirements

  • Bilingual Spanish/English Required
  • OSHA 30 Construction Certification
  • Minimum 3+ Years of Construction Safety Experience
  • Strong ability to communicate safety expectations with English and Spanish-speaking craft personnel

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily field safety oversight for drywall and interior systems construction activities
  • Maintain a highly visible presence throughout active work areas
  • Support a workforce of approximately 140 craft employees and supervisors
  • Conduct routine site inspections, audits, observations, and hazard assessments
  • Monitor framing, drywall installation, material handling operations, and elevated work activities
  • Review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs), permits, and pre-task plans
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and project-specific safety requirements
  • Identify unsafe conditions and coordinate timely corrective actions
  • Provide field coaching and reinforce safe work practices with craft personnel
  • Coordinate safety activities with project management, supervision, and subcontractors
  • Participate in incident investigations and corrective action implementation
  • Maintain required safety documentation, inspection records, and compliance reports
  • Promote a proactive safety culture throughout the project

Benefits

  • Per Diem: $125/Day (7 Days Per Week)
  • Completion Bonus: $150/month
