About The Position

Color Mixer Specialists tint and mix paint to customer specifications and work closely with wholesale customers to determine their needs, answer questions about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend appropriate solutions. They stay current on product features and maintain product quality and store visual standards while delivering excellent customer service and consistently working toward store sales goals. This role is based at Store #3633, 5111 West Market St, Greensboro, NC 27409. Starting pay is $15.30 per hour. Duties involve customer contact, potentially including minors, and access to cash, payment methods, electronic equipment, personal information, merchandise, and other items of value. The position requires communicating in both English and Spanish. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing current or future sponsorship for employment visa status.
Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and frequently lift and carry up to 50 lbs., and occasionally up to 70 lbs.

Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English.
Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish.

Nice To Haves

Valid, unrestricted driver's license.
High school diploma or GED.
At least one year of experience working in delivery, retail, or customer service.
Previous work experience selling paint and paint-related products.
Previous work experience operating tinting and mixing equipment.

Responsibilities

Prepare customers' paint orders quickly and accurately.
Tint and mix products to customer specifications as needed.
Prepare drawdowns for submission to customers.
Clean, fill, and repair equipment as needed.
Maintain precise work order files and formulas.
Pull appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse.
Stock shelves and set up displays.
Clean store equipment.
Load and unload delivery trucks.
Assist in making deliveries as needed.
Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining their needs and presenting appropriate products and services.
Process sales transactions accurately and in accordance with policies and procedures.
Maintain assigned areas in an in-stock and presentable condition.
Remain knowledgeable about products offered and discuss available options.
Comply with inventory control procedures.
Suggest ways to improve sales.
