About The Position

Electronic Products Recycling Association (EPRA) is a recognized, industry-led, not-for-profit organization that operates regulated recycling programs across Canada. We provide environmental compliance programs for manufacturers, distributors, retailers and other suppliers of electronics and represent the largest network of qualified processors and drop-off locations in Canada. Our mandate is to ensure end-of-life electronics are collected, recycled and handled in a safe, secure and environmentally-sound manner. We currently have an opening for a Bilingual Client Service Coordinator based out of our Mississauga head office located at 5750 Explorer Drive. This is a full-time, permanent position to fill an existing vacancy. Role Overview: Reporting to the department supervisor, the Bilingual Client Services Coordinator is a key member of our Steward Services team and is responsible for facilitating the jurisdictional compliance requirements of our Stewards (clients) that addresses the electronic recycling needs of consumers and businesses across Canada.

Requirements

  • Experience in customer service or in administrative service, in a contact centre or similar office environment
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Highly organized, analytical and detail-oriented
  • Computer savvy, current on new technology and quick to learn new systems
  • Comfortable and effective dealing with our clients and the public over the phone
  • Excellent written and documentation skills
  • Self-motivated and disciplined to work without direct supervision
  • Team player, who functions well within a team environment
  • Able to multi-task in a fast paced and dynamic setting
  • Fluency in French at a professional level is a MUST
  • Able to work all rotating day/evening shifts (7 am - 3 pm, 9 am - 5 pm, 11 am - 7 pm) out of the Mississauga Head Office

Nice To Haves

  • Basic understanding of accounting principles/finance background is a strong asset
  • Experience in the fields of environmental compliance/stewardship and/or regulations and permits are an asset

Responsibilities

  • Understand the applicable Canadian (EPR/IPR) recycling regulations
  • Educate clients on regulations and steps required to maintain program compliance
  • Account management ensuring remittances are made
  • Outreach and follow-up on report documentation
  • Assist with invoicing questions and concerns
  • Audit control ensuring documents match and balance
  • Identify and resolve issues with service providers
  • Execute other ad hoc projects upon request
