Requirements

Up-to-date knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and related laws.
Understand leaves of absence, disability, COBRA, and state laws.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent education and experience.
5 years of relevant work experience in leave of absence administration and disability programs in large organization (preferably multi-unit).
CLMS certification preferred but not required.
Obtain state-specific life/health insurance agent’s license within three months.

Responsibilities

Serve as point of contact for employees regarding Leave of Absence claims.
Facilitate ADA leave process from request to return to work.
Ensure compliance with company policies for leave and ADA processes.
Review medical documentation for ADA leave eligibility and compliance.
Address complex ADA cases with HR, legal counsel, and stakeholders.
Identify and implement reasonable accommodations for return to work.
Maintain accurate, confidential records of ADA leave requests and communications.
