The company is seeking a highly driven and results-oriented Business Development Manager (B2B) to lead growth initiatives in Ottawa and the surrounding area in Ontario. In this independent contributor role, the manager will be responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities across the region. This includes crafting strategic proposals, delivering impactful presentations, and executing multi-faceted client engagement strategies to drive revenue growth.

Requirements

  • Proven hunter sales experience with uncapped commission potential.
  • Resilient, entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of sales success.
  • Experience in Real Estate/Property industry (B2B) sales.
  • Strong relationship builder and sales process-focused professional.
  • Expertise in territory/industry management and strategic selling.
  • Highly accountable, assertive, and results-driven in managing the sales cycle.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent time management and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM software.
  • Must be able to pass a Criminal Background Check.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research, analyze industry trends, and proactively identify new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
  • Craft compelling proposals, presentations, and client communications, ensuring clarity and alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans that align internal teams and external stakeholders, driving collaboration and success.
  • Build long-term value with key decision-makers by delivering tailored solutions that align with their operational needs and business goals.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure proposed solutions effectively address client requirements and key decision criteria.
  • Develop winning strategies for client engagement, relationship-building, bidding, and long-term territory expansion.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, sales activities, and pipeline progress.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, accurately forecasting new business wins to support revenue targets.
  • Effectively manage multiple priorities, create urgency, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Organize and participate in client site tours, industry events, and networking opportunities to strengthen relationships and generate leads.
  • Provide regular updates on sales performance, year-to-date progress, and strategic plans for business growth.
  • Lead contract negotiations, develop competitive proposals, deliver persuasive presentations, and secure agreement on contract terms.
  • Coordinate with proposal, pricing, and operations teams to ensure the seamless execution of proposals and client onboarding.
