About The Position

The Bilingual Auto Parts Sales Associate promotes B.Y.O.T. Auto Parts’ culture as a team player, helping the team meet productivity goals while maintaining integrity, professionalism, attention to detail, and a strong appearance. The role aims to provide every customer with a five-star experience while supporting the company’s safety culture. The associate assists customers in person and by phone, answers questions, supports sales activities, and follows the company’s sales model and procedures. The position also includes training and education, loss prevention and cash-handling practices, and housekeeping or other assigned tasks. Work is performed in person.

Requirements

Must work safely at all times.
Good people skills and an outgoing, friendly, positive attitude.
Able to work retail hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
Must be bilingual in Spanish.
Must follow the company dress code and maintain a well-groomed, neat appearance.
High school or equivalent education is preferred.
One year of retail sales experience is preferred.
One year of customer service experience is preferred.

Nice To Haves

Proficiency in automotive part and product identification and recognizing how parts relate to customer needs.
Previous experience in a retail environment.

Responsibilities

Promote B.Y.O.T. Auto Parts’ Safety Culture and work as a team member to help achieve team goals.
Maintain a high level of integrity, professionalism, appearance, and attention to detail.
Provide information to customers entering the store or calling by phone, and answer their questions in a friendly, enthusiastic, and professional manner.
Support test drives and post vehicles for sale.
Follow loss prevention, risk control, quality assurance, and proper cash-handling procedures.
Contribute to housekeeping, janitorial, and other duties on the task list, including cleaning tires, loading the tire rack, carrying batteries, changing vehicle batteries, mopping floors, cleaning offices and restrooms, and spraying off and preparing vehicles for sale.
Follow all company policies and procedures.
Identify when a customer interaction requires management assistance.
Complete sales training and follow the B.Y.O.T. Auto Parts Sales Model.
Participate in ongoing training and education across areas of the B.Y.O.T. Auto Parts business.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
