About The Position

American Freedom Insurance Company (AFIC) is a financially strong, A+ rated nonstandard auto insurer with over 13 consecutive years of profitable growth. We are seeking a Bilingual Field Marketing Representative to expand our presence and strengthen partnerships with independent insurance agencies across a multi-state territory (IL, IN, TN, PA, TX). This is a relationship-driven, field-based role with the opportunity to make a direct impact on agency growth and company performance.

Requirements

  • Bilingual Spanish
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Outgoing, friendly personality
  • Experience in Auto insurance sales, underwriting, claims, or marketing
  • Ability to do overnight travel (~15%) to meet with existing and prospective agents
  • Excellent writing, communication and presentation abilities
  • Have a valid driver’s license, a reliable vehicle and an acceptable motor vehicle record
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Attention to detail and high quality of work
  • Ability to think on your feet, problem solve and find solutions expeditiously
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills
  • Quantitative skills a plus
  • Proficiency with technology, primarily Microsoft Office – Word and Excel

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage relationships with independent insurance agencies in a 5 state territory
  • Serve as the primary liaison between agency partners and AFIC
  • Conduct regular agency visits, trainings, and product presentations
  • Identify and appoint new agency partners aligned with company strategy
  • Gather market intelligence and provide insights to leadership
  • Collaborate with Underwriting, Claims, Product, and other internal teams to support agency needs
  • Stay informed on competitor products, pricing, and industry trends
