About The Position

As a Cookie Crew Bike Delivery Driver at Insomnia Cookies, you deliver warm cookies, brownies, and other treats to guests by bicycle and help create a positive guest experience. When not making deliveries, you support the bakery team by preparing orders, assisting guests, and helping keep the bakery running smoothly. The role combines delivery, hospitality, and teamwork in a fast-paced setting, with time spent both inside the bakery and on city streets.

Drivers are expected to be available during peak business hours, including evenings, late nights, weekends, and holidays. Schedules vary by location.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to safely operate a bicycle in an urban environment.
• Own a smartphone capable of running company delivery applications.
• Availability to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to ride a bicycle for extended periods and frequently mount and dismount it.
• Ability to carry and transport delivery bags weighing up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, squat, and twist throughout the workday.
• Ability to work in varying outdoor weather conditions.
• Ability to enter and exit apartment buildings, offices, and residences, including climbing stairs when elevators are unavailable.
• Ability to work safely around bakery equipment, ovens, refrigeration units, and cleaning products.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.

Responsibilities

• Deliver orders safely, accurately, and efficiently by bicycle.
• Ensure each order arrives warm, complete, and on time.
• Navigate city streets safely while following traffic laws and company safety guidelines.
• Communicate professionally with guests during deliveries.
• Prepare, package, and organize delivery orders.
• Welcome guests and provide service inside the bakery between deliveries.
• Help bake, decorate, package, and stock products as needed.
• Keep the bakery clean, organized, and food-safe.
• Support teammates during busy shifts to keep orders moving quickly and accurately.
• Help create a positive guest experience.
