About The Position

Trane Canada has an exciting opportunity to join our organization as a Bid Coordinator. In this role, you will work closely with Customers, Account Managers, and the Estimating team to ensure timely delivery of project proposals. This role plays a critical part in how we win work and execute as a team. This position is based out of the Markham office. Onsite - Monday to Thursday. Flexibility of working from home on Fridays.

Requirements

  • Experience with Salesforce, bid portals, or document management tools
  • Experience in bid coordination, proposal support, sales support, or project administration
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple requests efficiently

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in HVAC, construction, building systems, mechanical contracting, or industrial sales environments is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the development and submission of bid and proposal packages for sales opportunities
  • Review RFPs, RFQs, ITTs, and customer bid documents to identify requirements, deadlines, and deliverables
  • Coordinate with sales, estimators, and other team members to collect and document required information
  • Create and maintain bid schedules, checklists, and submission calendars on Salesforce
  • Support post-bid activities such as follow-ups to complete the loop successfully in the bid process
  • Assist with continuous improvement of bid processes and tools to effectively support the sales teams
