About The Position

This job performs professional level procurement tasks associated with managing the competitive solicitation process for complex and often high-profile formal solicitations. Creates and processes a wide variety of formal solicitations. Reviews, drafts, and negotiates contracts with vendors and staff. This position includes oversight of the evaluation bid and proposal process, coordination of contract negotiations and the award process. The position includes opportunities to work with department subject matter experts to solve supply chain challenges. Anticipated starting salary may be up to mid-point depending on candidate’s experience and internal equity. The midpoint salary is $85,654.40 annually.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, Public or Business Administration or related field from an accredited educational institution.
  • Three years' experience in dealing with bid specifications, statements of work, requests for proposals and solicitations, contract formation and/or administration.
  • Any equivalent combination of education and/or job-related experience that meets the minimum qualifications may be substituted.
  • Must reside in the State of Arizona during active employment.
