Comunale can work in virtually every market sector and facility type. S.A. Comunale is seeking an Bid Administrative Assistant. The primary function of this role is to prospect for new clients by searching the public bid market, reaching out to all counties in our territory to be added to bid lists or other means of generating interest from potential new clients. In addition, this role is responsible for the preparation and participation in current and new business opportunity proposals and quotations. This job requires the ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasked environment with a focus on marketing our company to potential customers with prospecting, communication and customer service.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • 3+ years of marketing or inside sales experience is required.
  • Experience producing quotes is required.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal and organizational skills are required.
  • Significant experience with Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint) applications is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of NFPA 10, 25 and 72 is a plus.
  • Knowledge of industry standard practices for service and inspections is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization.
  • Build relationships with potential new clients through phone calls, emails and when site visits are needed to get the fire safety specialists involved.
  • Identify and qualify new proposal opportunities within the industry
  • Gather and maintain required data for RFI and RFP preparation.
  • Accurately process and complete requirements in the RFI and RFP process.
  • Follow up on quotation progress and report out on status of quotes including turnaround times and success rates
  • Maintain updated information in Sales Tracker and submit weekly progress reports.
  • Actively pursue leads generated from potential client lists.
