About The Position

Veo is seeking repair technicians to maintain and repair its electric vehicle fleet in Jacksonville, Florida, in connection with the planned Fall 2026 service launch. The role is suited to mechanically inclined professionals who enjoy hands-on problem-solving and are interested in helping make communities safe and sustainable. Electric vehicle experience is not required; professional or hobby experience repairing bikes, scooters, cars, or motorcycles is relevant. The position pays $18.50 per hour. Full-time employees are eligible for medical, dental, and vision coverage and PTO. Other perks include flexible work hours and free Veo credits.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience in maintenance or auto repair.
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull electric bikes or scooters weighing up to 80 pounds.
Problem-solving mindset and self-motivation.
Comfort navigating and using smartphone apps.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work as a team player.

Nice To Haves

Previous maintenance experience with bikes, scooters, motorcycles, or automobiles.
Basic knowledge of electronics.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive repairs on Veo electric bikes and scooters, from tightening bolts to replacing motors.
Conduct quality checks and routine inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety standards.
Log and track maintenance records according to established processes.
Monitor inventory levels for spare parts.
Maintain excellent warehouse organization and set an example for teammates.
Perform field tasks as needed, such as swapping batteries and redistributing vehicles.
Perform other duties as assigned.
