About The Position

Veo is seeking repair technicians to maintain and repair its electric vehicle fleet. The role suits mechanically inclined people who enjoy hands-on problem-solving and want to help make communities safe and sustainable. Electric vehicle experience is not required; professional or hobby experience repairing bikes, scooters, cars, or motorcycles is relevant. A company van is provided for employees, and candidates must have reliable transportation to the warehouse on South Seth Child Road in Manhattan, Kansas. This is a 1099 position and is not eligible for benefits. The stated schedule is Monday and Wednesday through Saturday, 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Pay is $16 per hour.

Requirements

At least 1 year of maintenance or auto repair experience.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to pass a motor vehicle background check covering the past 5 years.
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull electric bikes and scooters weighing up to 80 pounds.
Problem-solving mindset and self-motivation.
Comfort navigating and using smartphone apps.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work as part of a team.
Reliable transportation to the warehouse in Manhattan, Kansas.

Nice To Haves

Previous maintenance experience with bikes, scooters, motorcycles, or automobiles.
Basic knowledge of electronics.

Responsibilities

Perform repairs on Veo electric bikes and scooters, including tightening bolts and replacing motors.
Conduct quality checks and routine inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety standards.
Log and track maintenance records according to established processes.
Monitor inventory levels for spare parts.
Maintain excellent warehouse organization and set a positive example for teammates.
Perform field tasks as needed, such as swapping batteries and redistributing vehicles.
Perform other duties as assigned.
