About The Position

Veo is seeking repair technicians to maintain and repair its electric vehicle fleet. This role is suited to mechanically inclined people who enjoy hands-on problem-solving and are interested in helping make communities safe and sustainable. Electric vehicle experience is not required; professional or hobby experience repairing bikes, scooters, cars, or motorcycles is relevant. The schedule is Friday through Sunday and Tuesday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The stated pay is $21 per hour.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in maintenance or auto repair.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull electric bikes and scooters weighing up to 80 pounds.
• Problem-solving mindset and self-motivation.
• Comfort navigating and using smartphone apps.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

• Previous maintenance experience with bikes, scooters, motorcycles, or automobiles.
• Basic knowledge of electronics.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs on Veo electric bikes and scooters, ranging from tightening bolts to replacing motors.
• Conduct quality checks and routine inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety standards.
• Log and track maintenance records according to established processes.
• Monitor inventory levels for spare parts.
• Maintain excellent warehouse organization and set an example for teammates.
• Perform field tasks as needed, such as swapping batteries and redistributing vehicles.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
