BHS II - Master's Level

COMPREHENSIVE HEALTHCARE•Kennewick, WA

About The Position

Comprehensive Healthcare offers internship and practicum placements for students in clinical-focused academic programs. Placements are considered only for students whose undergraduate or graduate degree program requires an internship to graduate. Counseling and social work students are prioritized, and students from other related disciplines may be considered when space is available. Internships are hosted across the organization’s campuses in Ellensburg, Walla Walla, Yakima, Sunnyside, and the Tri-Cities. Availability depends on the requirements of the student's internship program, as determined by the university. Students are encouraged to consider their interests, career goals, and program requirements when selecting placement opportunities. The application process includes submitting an online application and relevant documents. Human Resources reviews the student's geographic location, supervision requirements, and timeframe, and may forward suitable applications to relevant supervisors. Candidates may interview with potential supervisors. For selected students, HR coordinates required paperwork and agreements and conducts a criminal background check. Students complete an onboarding day before beginning; this is generally held on a Monday at the main Yakima facility, with some flexibility for students unable to travel. Placement opportunities vary by location and treatment area. The listed CVCR Behavioral Health Specialist placement in the Tri-Cities is available to master's-level students.
