About The Position

This role is for individuals with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Sociology who are looking to gain experience in mental health settings. The position focuses on helping clients achieve health and wellness treatment goals and services within a vulnerable client population. It offers opportunities to develop case management and counseling skills, requiring attention to detail and experience in providing traditional case management, supportive counseling, and facilitating treatment groups. The role emphasizes building relationships with clients and offers growth opportunities within the organization. The position reports to the Program Manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or a related field OR one-year experience in the behavioral health field for non-related Bachelor's degrees.
• Experience with clinical modalities: Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), other Cognitive Behavior Therapies (CBT).
• Collaborative and client-centered orientation.
• Attention to detail.
• Familiarity with insurance programs like Medicare and Medicaid.
