About The Position

The Beverage Supervisor is responsible and accountable for the administration, operation, and direct management of the Beverage service. This role involves developing and assisting with the business plan and budget for beverage service, managing inventory and ordering supplies, and developing staff through training, interviewing, performance management, and evaluations. The supervisor will also review staffing levels, delegate duties, and meet with departmental directors and managers. Additionally, the role includes developing and supervising programs to reduce injuries, demonstrating professionalism, and performing other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • Three (3) years’ experience in restaurant supervision and/or management, purchasing and inventory control.
  • Requires thorough knowledge of Food and Beverage/Hospitality practices and procedures.
  • Must be Serv-Safe and RAMP certified.
  • Knowledge of sanitation laws and health regulations and applicable OSHA regulations.
  • Required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
  • Proven ability to lead a team and communicate efficiently, both verbally and in writing.
  • Must be flexible and adaptable to change.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license as determined by the State Gaming Control Board for the position.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and assist in a supervisory capacity with the business plan and budget for the beverage service.
  • Responsible for inventory control and ordering supplies, food and drink necessary to operate beverage service.
  • Developing staff, to include training, interviewing for new hires, assisting with performance management inclusive of disciplinary counseling and conducting performance evaluations.
  • Review staffing levels to maintain budgeted level of employment.
  • Delegate authority and assign duties as necessary.
  • Review departmental status with Manager.
  • Develop, implement, and supervise programs and processes to reduce and control loss time injuries.
  • Meet with departmental directors and managers as necessary.
  • Demonstrates professionalism that reflects our brand and company values.
  • Other duties as assigned.
