About The Position

This is a part-time position for a Beverage Server at Bally's Lincoln Casino Resort. The role involves providing fast, friendly, and professional beverage service to casino guests, preparing both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and maintaining a clean and stocked workstation. The server will also be responsible for handling money, monitoring guest alcohol consumption, promoting casino events, and working collaboratively with other staff. A thorough understanding of liquor laws and company policies is required.

Requirements

Must have a State Service License.
Knowledge of liquor law of state and company policies.
Ability to handle money according to proper cash handling policy.
Ability to monitor guest consumption of alcohol and intervene as needed.
Ability to work well with others, especially beverage servers, bartenders, barbacks, beverage supervisor, and slots supervisor.
Ability to provide personalized service and use guest name.
Ability to resolve service problems according to guidelines.
Ability to carry full trays on every round.
Ability to prepare non-alcoholic beverages and garnish each beverage according to standard recipe.
Ability to check Guest ID’s for serving of all alcoholic beverages.

Responsibilities

Report to work at the assigned time in uniform, with name tag, state badge and P.O.S Computer card.
Read Bulletin Board on Daily Basis in order to remain current on information regarding the day’s business.
Does a Daily Opening & Closing Requisition for ordering for beverage supplies.
Welcomes guest upon arrival in a polite and professional manner.
Knows how to properly check Guest ID’s for serving of all alcoholic beverages.
Prepare non-alcoholic beverages and garnish each beverage according to standard recipe.
Provides fast (10 minute or less round time), friendly, professional beverage service to casino guests and carries full trays on every round.
Takes drink orders, communicates with bartender, assists in the preparation of drinks and presents drinks to guests.
Maintains clean and stocked workstation.
Handles money according to proper cash handling policy.
Monitors guest consumption of alcohol and intervene as needed according to guidelines.
Promotes all casino events, programs and amenities.
Works well with others, especially beverage servers, bartenders, barbacks, beverage supervisor, and slots supervisor.
Provides personalized service and uses guest name.
Resolves service problems according to guidelines.
Should have knowledge of liquor law of state and company policies.
Any other duties assigned by your supervisor.

Read Daily information in order to stay current and up to date regarding daily business.
