About The Position

This is a part-time position for a Beverage Server at Bally's Lincoln Casino Resort. The role involves providing fast, friendly, and professional beverage service to casino guests, preparing both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and maintaining a clean and stocked workstation. The server will also be responsible for handling money, monitoring guest alcohol consumption, promoting casino events, and working collaboratively with other staff. A thorough understanding of liquor laws and company policies is required.

Requirements

  • Must have a State Service License.
  • Knowledge of liquor law of state and company policies.
  • Ability to handle money according to proper cash handling policy.
  • Ability to monitor guest consumption of alcohol and intervene as needed.
  • Ability to work well with others, especially beverage servers, bartenders, barbacks, beverage supervisor, and slots supervisor.
  • Ability to provide personalized service and use guest name.
  • Ability to resolve service problems according to guidelines.
  • Ability to carry full trays on every round.
  • Ability to prepare non-alcoholic beverages and garnish each beverage according to standard recipe.
  • Ability to check Guest ID’s for serving of all alcoholic beverages.

Responsibilities

  • Report to work at the assigned time in uniform, with name tag, state badge and P.O.S Computer card.
  • Read Bulletin Board on Daily Basis in order to remain current on information regarding the day’s business.
  • Does a Daily Opening & Closing Requisition for ordering for beverage supplies.
  • Welcomes guest upon arrival in a polite and professional manner.
  • Knows how to properly check Guest ID’s for serving of all alcoholic beverages.
  • Prepare non-alcoholic beverages and garnish each beverage according to standard recipe.
  • Provides fast (10 minute or less round time), friendly, professional beverage service to casino guests and carries full trays on every round.
  • Takes drink orders, communicates with bartender, assists in the preparation of drinks and presents drinks to guests.
  • Maintains clean and stocked workstation.
  • Handles money according to proper cash handling policy.
  • Monitors guest consumption of alcohol and intervene as needed according to guidelines.
  • Promotes all casino events, programs and amenities.
  • Works well with others, especially beverage servers, bartenders, barbacks, beverage supervisor, and slots supervisor.
  • Provides personalized service and uses guest name.
  • Resolves service problems according to guidelines.
  • Should have knowledge of liquor law of state and company policies.
  • Any other duties assigned by your supervisor.
  • Report to work at the assigned time, on uniform, with name tag, State Service License, and P.O.S. computer card as needed.
  • Read Daily information in order to stay current and up to date regarding daily business.
