About The Position

Be the friendly, welcoming presence on the casino floor keeping the energy high and beverage service flowing. As a Casino Beverage Server, you'll create memorable guest experiences by delivering prompt, attentive service while ensuring responsible beverage practices.

Requirements

  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
  • Must have or be able to obtain a valid OLCC permit and a food handler's card.
  • Comfortable communicating clearly and positively with both guests and teammates.
  • Must pass and remain in compliance with Coquille Gaming Commission background check and drug free workplace policies.
  • You'll need to be available to work weekends, holidays, and evenings when we are busy.
  • During your shift, you'll be on your feet standing for extended periods, and frequently walk, and use your hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls.
  • This role requires regularly lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds, frequently lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Frequently, bend, twist, reach and otherwise be physically limber as duties necessitate.
  • Occasionally sit.
  • It's important to stay calm and make good decisions under pressure, especially when dealing with stressful situations or upset people.

Nice To Haves

  • GED or HS Diploma preferred.
  • Possess excellent customer service skills, be team oriented and self-motivated.
  • Organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are necessary.
  • Friendly and approachable attitude that helps guests (and the team) feel welcome and cared for every day.

Responsibilities

  • Make sure the space stays safe, clean, and friendly for both guests and the rest of the team; speak up and report any safety concerns to the Safety Committee.
  • Provide beverage service throughout the gaming floor, carrying and serving drinks with tray service.
  • Refill beans, powders, and air pot as needed to keep coffee machines operational.
  • Keep beverage inventory and supplies well-stocked, restocking for the next shift to ensure seamless service.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary tray at all times for both guest satisfaction and team efficiency.
  • Greet guests warmly and professionally, making them feel valued with every interaction.
  • Stay alert to responsible alcohol service and communicate effectively with the bartender and team.
  • Assist bartenders by preparing basic beverages when needed.
  • Accurately enter food and beverage orders into the point-of-sale (POS) system.
  • Process guest transactions including cash, credit cards, and comps.
  • Handle and reconcile cash banks and ensure all sales are accounted for at the end of each shift.
  • Occasionally fill in for bartenders during breaks or call outs.
  • Jump in where needed to support the team and keep things running smoothly. (Other duties as assigned)
