About The Position
Pine State Beverage, a family-owned beverage distribution company, is seeking a Merchandiser to enhance the appearance of its beverage portfolio through innovative point-of-sale materials on sales floors while maintaining customer service levels at accounts along an assigned route. The role serves accounts in Biddeford, Kennebunk, Saco, Wells, and York. The ideal candidate can work independently, has a strong work ethic, and is enthusiastic about the beverage industry. The position pays $18.90 per hour and includes mileage reimbursement and a cell phone stipend. Health benefits are available after 30 days of employment. Other stated benefits include a 401(k) with employer match and paid vacation, sick, and holiday time.
Requirements
- Valid Maine driver's license and a safe driving record.
- Reliable transportation.
- Flexibility to work extended hours as needed, including weekends.
- Ability to understand verbal and written instructions.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and rotate product daily, including objects weighing up to 25 pounds using proper body mechanics.
- Time-management skills and ability to work independently.
- Willingness to follow account-specific safety and customer service guidelines.

Responsibilities
- Enhance the appearance of the Pine State Beverage portfolio on sales floors using innovative point-of-sale materials.
- Maintain customer service levels at accounts throughout the assigned route.
- Travel to accounts in Biddeford, Kennebunk, Saco, Wells, and York.
- Lift, carry, rotate, and position product, and stock shelves using U-boats to move product from store back rooms into aisles or coolers.
- Follow safety and customer service guidelines established at each account.
