About The Position

Watkins Distributing is a family-owned and operated beverage distribution company serving Idaho and Montana for four generations. Beverage merchandisers travel to grocery stores and other beverage outlets along their route to ensure products are stocked, displayed, and rotated correctly. The role involves working independently at multiple retail locations and being active throughout the workday.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record with no major violations.
Reliable transportation for use throughout the workday and proof of auto insurance.
Ability to regularly lift and move cases weighing 20–30 lbs.
Ability to bend, squat, reach, and stand for extended periods.
Self-motivated and able to work without a supervisor on site.
Organized, with excellent attention to detail and customer service orientation.
Comfortable being active and moving around often.

Nice To Haves

Preference for a flexible, dynamic position rather than a 9-to-5 office job.

Responsibilities

Safely and efficiently handle a wide array of beverage products.
Replenish shelves, coolers, displays, and backstock areas with beverage products.
Rotate products to comply with expiration dates and freshness standards.
Build, maintain, and dismantle branded promotional displays and endcaps.
Install signage, decals, and promotional point-of-sale materials.
Safely use manual equipment, including hand trucks, to lift, stack, and transport beverage products.
Drive a company or personal vehicle between stops.
Follow directions communicated by the sales representative and merchandising supervisor.
