Beverage Merchandiser
About The Position
Pine State Beverage is seeking a part-time Merchandiser to support its Sales Division. The role enhances the appearance of the Pine State Beverage portfolio by placing innovative point-of-sale materials on sales floors while maintaining customer service levels at accounts along an assigned route. The position covers accounts in the Topsham, Boothbay, Wiscasset, Damariscotta, and Waldoboro areas. The ideal candidate can work independently, has a strong work ethic, and is enthusiastic about the beverage industry. Compensation is $18.90 per hour, with mileage reimbursement, a cell phone stipend, a 401(k) with employer match after 90 days of employment, and sick time off.
Requirements
- Valid Maine driver’s license, a safe driving record, and reliable transportation.
- Ability to understand verbal and written instructions.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and rotate product daily.
- Time-management skills and ability to work independently.
- Willingness to follow the safety and customer service guidelines established at each account.
- Professional appearance.
- Ability to lift, carry, and position objects weighing up to 25 pounds using proper body mechanics.
- Ability to walk, stand, bend, and climb continuously within customer accounts.
Responsibilities
- Enhance the appearance of the Pine State Beverage portfolio through innovative point-of-sale materials on sales floors.
- Maintain customer service levels at accounts throughout the assigned route.
- Lift, carry, rotate, and stock product at customer accounts.
- Push and pull U-boats of product from store back rooms into aisles or coolers.
- Travel between accounts in the assigned territory.
