About The Position

BERCO is hiring a Field Service Technician in St. Petersburg, Florida, to diagnose, repair, and service a wide variety of beverage and commercial food equipment. The technician is dispatched from home, uses a take-home company vehicle and fuel card, and must be available for an on-call rotation. The role includes maintaining vehicle stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment, and participating in training to develop technical skills. Compensation is $20–$22 per hour, with pay determined by market location and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license.
General knowledge of maintenance and repair procedures.
Coachable and eager to learn.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic computer skills for documentation via iPad or cell phone.
Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds and frequently move heavy objects.
Comfort working in extreme temperatures and tight spaces, including attics, basements, and crawl spaces.
Strong balance and coordination to climb ladders and work at heights of 45 feet or higher.
Endurance to stand or kneel for extended periods.
Dexterity to connect electrical components and make precise measurements.

Nice To Haves

EPA certification is preferred but not required.
