About The Position

Webber, part of Ferrovial Construction, is seeking a Benefits Specialist to join their team in The Woodlands, Texas. The Benefits Specialist will play a key role in administering and supporting Webber's employee benefits programs, with a strong emphasis on retirement plans, wellness initiatives, and vendor administration. This role serves as a trusted resource to employees, helping them understand and maximize their benefits while ensuring compliance, accuracy, and exceptional customer service across all benefit-related processes. Fluency in English and Spanish is required for this position.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of Benefits or Human Resources experience, including retirement plan administration.
  • Strong knowledge of 401(k) programs, benefits administration, and compliance practices.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Workday, and UKG preferred.
  • PHR or SHRM certification is a plus.
  • Highly organized with strong analytical, auditing, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to work across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and attention to detail.
  • Team-oriented professional capable of working independently and collaboratively.

Nice To Haves

  • PHR or SHRM certification is a plus.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Workday, and UKG preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and support 401(k) and retirement programs, including funding, audits, testing, and employee inquiries.
  • Review, reconcile, and process monthly benefits vendor invoices and billing.
  • Conduct eligibility and enrollment audits to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage HSA account issues, Evidence of Insurability (EOI) tracking, and vendor reporting.
  • Administer Wellness@Webber programs, communications, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Assist with annual enrollment activities and employee benefits education.
  • Provide bilingual (English/Spanish) support to employees regarding benefits questions and programs.
  • Partner with vendors, internal stakeholders, and participating employers to support benefits administration and process improvements.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
