About The Position

Build a career in sales, client service, and leadership — from anywhere. We are seeking motivated, coachable professionals to join our team as Remote Benefits Sales Representatives. This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity for individuals interested in developing professional sales skills, helping working families understand their benefit and insurance options, and pursuing a performance-based path toward leadership. Representatives meet with prospective and existing clients virtually to review their needs, explain available insurance products and benefits, and help families make informed coverage decisions. Company-sourced lead programs are provided, giving representatives access to prospective and existing clients through channels that may include union member benefit inquiries, Will Kit requests, Child Safe Kit requests, existing policyholder reviews, and Globe Life consumer inquiries.

Requirements

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment
  • Coachable and willing to follow a structured training and sales process
  • Comfortable speaking with clients by phone and video conference
  • Goal-oriented with the ability to manage activity and performance expectations
  • Professional, dependable, and committed to ethical client service
  • Basic proficiency with computers, video conferencing, and CRM or digital business tools
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Must hold, or be willing and eligible to obtain, the appropriate state life/health insurance license before conducting licensed insurance activity

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, retail, hospitality, athletics, leadership, or other performance-driven environments is helpful but not required
  • No previous insurance experience is required. Candidates from a variety of professional backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct virtual appointments with prospective and existing clients
  • Follow up with company-sourced leads and benefit requests
  • Educate families about available benefits and insurance options
  • Identify client needs and recommend appropriate coverage solutions
  • Manage follow-up activity and maintain an organized client pipeline
  • Complete ongoing product, sales, compliance, and professional-development training
  • Maintain required state insurance licensing and follow applicable regulations
  • Work toward individual activity and production objectives
  • Develop sales and leadership capabilities through ongoing coaching
  • Representatives who demonstrate consistent production, professionalism, and leadership capability may have opportunities to mentor and develop other representatives and pursue additional leadership responsibilities.
