Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in benefits and shared services, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Proven expertise in benefits design and administration, especially leave management.
  • Demonstrated record of streamlining processes and leveraging technology to deliver best-in-class results.
  • A passion for finding innovative ways to deliver competitive, cost-effective benefits.
  • Exceptional communication skills—you can translate complex information into clear, actionable insights for any audience.
  • A history of developing talent and leading high-performing teams with empathy and accountability.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); Power BI and Workday experience preferred.
  • High energy, self-motivation, and resilience in a fast-paced, feedback-driven environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a private equity environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Benefits Strategy & Execution Design and implement competitive, cost-effective benefits programs that align with our business goals and support our people.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert in all areas of benefits, with a particular focus on leave administration.
  • Evaluate vendors, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships to ensure optimal value and service.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and regulatory changes to maintain compliance and market competitiveness.
  • Lead annual enrollment, communications, and employee education initiatives with clarity and impact.
  • Use data to drive decisions and communicate benefits clearly to all stakeholders—from executives to employees.
  • HR Shared Services Leadership Develop and optimize processes, procedures, and controls to deliver consistent, high-quality HR support.
  • Leverage technology and automation to streamline service delivery and improve employee experience.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders on benefits and HR operations.
  • Team & Culture Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team—building a culture of accountability, collaboration, and growth.
  • Be hands-on and unafraid to roll up your sleeves to get things done.
  • Challenge assumptions and drive continuous improvement across all areas of responsibility.
  • Support M&A activities, including due diligence and post-close integration.
