About The Position

The Benefits Coordinator is responsible for benefits administration, employee inquiries, vendor coordination, and HRIS data maintenance to ensure employees have a smooth and supported benefits experience across multiple jurisdictions. This role supports the delivery of compliant, scalable, and employee-focused benefits operations. The role partners closely with People & Culture, Payroll, HRIS, Finance, and external providers to maintain efficient benefits processes, support data integrity, and enhance the employee experience through effective program administration and operational excellence. This position plays a key role in supporting benefits governance, reporting, compliance activities, and ongoing process improvement initiatives aligned with organizational growth and workforce needs.

Requirements

  • 0–2 years of HR, benefits administration, or related experience; recent HR graduates with internship or co-op experience are welcome to apply
  • Basic familiarity with employee benefits concepts) in the US and/or Canada
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines
  • Experience working with HRIS platforms such as HiBob, ADP, or similar systems
  • Strong understanding of benefits processes, employee data management, and confidentiality requirements
  • Experience supporting benefits reconciliations, reporting, and vendor coordination
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, multi-country environment
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to identify operational inefficiencies and support scalable process improvements

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced Excel and reporting skills considered an asset
  • Experience supporting global or multi-jurisdictional programs is considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Administering employee benefits programs including enrollments, life events, terminations, and plan changes
  • Managing day-to-day benefits operations and responding to employee and manager inquiries related to benefits programs and policies
  • Maintaining accurate employee benefits records and ensure data integrity across HR and payroll systems
  • Supporting benefits reconciliation activities with Payroll and Finance teams to ensure accurate deductions and reporting
  • Assisting with compliance reporting and regulatory requirements related to employee benefits programs
  • Supporting HR systems configuration and testing related to benefits administration and integrations
  • Generating and maintaining benefits reporting, metrics, and analytics for internal stakeholders
  • Assist with the annual renewal process including data gathering and materials preparation
