About The Position

Responsible for assisting team members with benefits enrollment, 401k retirement, leaves of absence, verifying all insurance billing, maintains team member database and files, and ensures compliance with required benefit notices.

Requirements

Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to make sound decisions quickly and efficiently.
Ability to maintain a high-level of confidentiality and professionalism.
High school diploma or GED and 2 (two) years of experience in team member benefits administration.
Three years’ administrative experience with a minimum of one year in Human Resources.
Proficient computer knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.
Skilled in the use of a Human Resource Information System (HRIS) and other office equipment.
Excellent communication skills, ability to work effectively in a team with subordinates, team members and managers.
Strong problem solving and conflict management skills.
Must be organized, detail orientated and be able to work under pressure, and maintain confidentiality in all areas of department.
Must have employment eligibility in the U.S.
Must be able to obtain a valid gaming license.
Must be able to meet all background and education requirements pertaining to this role, work any shift, special events or extended hours if needed.

Nice To Haves

SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP and CEBS (Certified Employee Benefit Specialist) professional designations preferred.
Spanish speaking preferred.

Responsibilities

Administer various team member benefits programs, such as group health, flexible spending accounts, dental and vision, accident and disability, life insurance, 401(k), and wellness benefits.
Conduct benefits orientations and assisting team members with the self-enrollment system/HRIS.
Maintain team member benefits filing systems and ensure benefits changes are entered appropriately and/or provided to payroll for payroll deduction.
Assist team members with health, dental, life and other related benefit claims.
Resolve administrative problems with the carrier representatives.
Administer COBRA.
Coordinate with all necessary person(s) on workers’ compensation claims and track data surrounding claims.
Assist HR Manager in obtaining statistics and information in renewal process of any health, life and retirement plans that benefit the company.
Prepare and plan meetings designed to help team members obtain information and understand company benefits and other related incentive programs.
Ensure distribution of required team member notices.
Coordinate wellness program incentives/challenges to promote awareness.
Coordinate and assist in preparation for the annual open enrollment event and health fair event.
Prepare and maintain bi-weekly team member reports, new-hire and absentee reports.
Maintain and update Leave Manager Software for tracking team members on Family Medical Leave (FMLA), Administrative Leave, Industrial Leave, Personal Leave, etc.
Assist team members with accommodation requests while adhering to the American with Disabilities Act (ADA).
