Objective of job: Ensures timeliness and accuracy of benefits administration including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, flex spending and 401(k). The administrator must provide excellent customer service and communication to the employees, related company departments and outside vendors. Principal Activities: Maintain and update HRIS system (ADP) for new hires, open enrollment, life events, COBRA and other reporting Reconcile and process all vendor invoices Answer questions related to all benefit plans and assist in development of company communication, including postings in facility, on ADP and Intranet Process bi-weekly, monthly and annual reports for all benefits Assist with on-boarding processes, new hire orientation and annual open enrollment Preparation of annual 5500's for all benefit plans and ACA reporting and other annual fees/reporting Administers Leave of Absence, STD, LTD, ADA to state and local law requirements (including CA) and partners with Workers Comp on FMLA Support 401(k) plan and administration Assist in organization of Wellness Events and programs Maintain knowledge on current benefit Trends, ACA requirements and legal regulations to ensure best practice and compliance Complete compliance mailings for all benefit plans Processes QDRO, MCSO HIPPA Compliance Officer Supports the conversion process from FWF to DAA employment Support Head of People Services in reporting frameworks
