About The Position

The Benefits Administrator plays a critical role in delivering accurate, timely, and employee‑focused benefits support. This position is responsible for administering health and welfare benefit programs, serving as a Tier 2 escalation point for complex employee inquiries, and creating clear, engaging benefits‑related communications for internal employee engagement platforms. The ideal candidate brings strong technical benefits knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a customer‑service mindset. Key Responsibilities Benefits Administration Administer and support health and welfare benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and related plans. Process benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations in the HRIS in accordance with plan rules and compliance requirements. Coordinate with vendors, carriers, and internal partners to resolve benefit issues and discrepancies. Support annual open enrollment activities, audits, and ongoing data integrity efforts. Ensure benefits administration complies with applicable federal, state, and plan regulations. Tier 2 Employee Support Serve as an escalation point for Tier 2 employee benefit inquiries requiring advanced knowledge, investigation, or coordination. Research and resolve complex benefit issues, ensuring accurate and timely follow‑up with employees. Partner with Tier 1 support and HR teams to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for improved employee experience. Employee Engagement & Communications Create and publish benefits‑related content for the employee engagement platform, including reminders, FAQs, benefit highlights, and enrollment communications. Translate complex benefit information into clear, employee‑friendly messaging. Collaborate with HR and leadership to ensure benefit communications are accurate, consistent, and aligned with company culture. Qualifications Required: 3–5 years of experience in benefits administration, HR operations, or a related role. Hands‑on experience administering health and welfare benefits. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex topics clearly. Experience handling escalated or complex employee inquiries. High attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience with HRIS and benefits administration systems (e.g., Workday). Experience creating employee‑facing communications or engagement content. Requirements
